Parish Council Vacancy

Following notification from the City of Doncaster Council, the parish council is now able to co-opt an eligible person to fill its one vacancy. The Parish Council is inviting expressions of interest in the role by Wednesday 7th of October (please contact the Clerk) with the intention to co-opt at the next parish council meeting on Wednesday 14th of October.

2026 Auckley Show

Grateful thanks are extended to Neil Woodward, all the Auckley Show committee and volunteers for their dedication and commitment involving months of work around the show, which culminated in a wonderful day, greatly enjoyed by both residents of Auckley parish and the wider community.

Village Green Seats

The parish council are deeply disappointed that in spite of continuing representations to CDC and to the Ward Councillors that the existing seats are still awaiting replacement. Efforts will continue in the hope that new or refurbished seats will be provided very soon.

Save the Dates for Events in 2026

‘Police Drop In’ at Auckley Parish Centre: Fridays 23 October and 27 November at 10.00 am.
Litter Pick on Saturday 14 November – Meet at Auckley Parish Centre at 10.00 am. Once again, the Council would like to extend its thanks to the Rapid Response Team for organising the latest litter pick which collected 25 bags of rubbish.

Trustees for the Richard Metcalfe Charity

The parish council would like to invite expressions of interest from members of the public to become a trustee of the charity. The committee would like to fill three vacancies (please contact the clerk who will pass on details).
